The boys went camping and bought home a dried out loaf of unused bread. I popped it in a baking tray and sat it at the bottom of the oven. As I cooked other things it dried out fully and this morning DS19 used this muscles and made bread crumbs in the wheat grinder.

Hi Piglet, I have read lots of interesting comments by you on Simple Savings, so I thought I would have a look at your blog - it is lovely, and you are so thrifty, and with all those gorgeous babies big and small. Well done with the breadcrumbs. I regularly throw away breadcrusts while thinking what a terrible waste it is.
